The Time Is Now

Application went up today... now I just gotta write my essays and find people to write me letters of recommendation.

No Bo

Well, it seems as if I will not be able to be the intern to the First Dog Bo. A reply to an Email I sent the internship people at the white house: Unfortunately, interns are not assigned to the First Family, including Bo.

Too bad... maybe Bo and my dogs can still get a playdate.

When I apply in a few days, I have to rank my interests... between communications for the President, Vice-President, and First Lady. Any suggestions?

Welcome to my first blog!

Hi Everyone!

As it says in that picture up top, this is my first blog that I have ever started and moderated.

I intend on applying to become a communications intern for the White House this summer! It seems that if I were accepted, I would be in one of three departments: President, Vice President, & First Lady.

Hopefully, I will be able to use my current communications skills (live TV production, social networking, video production and editing, web design) to help the White House run more smoothly, and hopefully I will learn a lot about how communications works in the most important building in the United States.

Sadly, I do not see any intern to assist the First Dog... As an owner of two Portuguese Water Dogs, who else would be better to walk Bo to his content every day?!

That's just about it for this first posting... please tell your family and friends to follow this blog. Hey... it might even be interesting! With your support, I hope to intern in the WHITE HOUSE! (or with Bo in the doghouse)
